WORKSHOPS / CLASSES
Booking & Cancellation Policy
All workshop and class bookings are considered confirmed once reserved. Cancelling or rescheduling are possible up to 2 days before the class start time, free of charge. To do so, please contact us directly at
Multi-Session Courses
For courses that take place over multiple sessions, participants are expected to attend all scheduled classes. If you miss one session, we offer the possibility to make it up at another time. However, if more than one session is missed, only one session in total can be rescheduled. Additional missed sessions cannot be recovered. This policy applies for all disciplines.
Creative Output & Results
Torro Studio offers activities across multiple disciplines including pottery, painting, design, and photography.
Depending on the medium:
- Outcomes may vary
- Materials may react differently
- Technical processes (such as firing of ceramics) may affect the final result
For this reason, no guarantees can be made regarding the exact outcome of any creation, and no refunds will be issued based on aesthetic results.
Participation & Responsibility
Participants are expected to arrive on time and follow the guidance of the instructor. If you are booking on behalf of others, you remain responsible for the full booking, including communication, attendance, and any additional costs incurred.
Prices
Prices for workshops, courses, materials, and shipping may be adjusted at any time. We reserve the right to make such changes when necessary.
Pickup & Storage (Physical Works)
For physical creations (e.g. pottery, paintings):
- Items will be stored for up to 6 weeks after notification
- After this period, items may be discarded without further notice
- Any handling or disposal costs may be invoiced
Materials & Additional Costs
Some workshops include materials, while others operate on a pay-as-you-produce basis. Any additional materials or outputs (extra clay, canvases, etc.) will be charged separately according to the applicable pricing.
Late Arrival Policy
We kindly ask all participants to arrive on time so that sessions can run smoothly. If you are more than 20 minutes late without informing us in advance (via

Torro Studio is a shared creative environment designed to be calm and respectful.
Participants are expected to:
- Respect the space, equipment, and others
- Follow studio guidelines for each discipline
- Avoid disruptive behavior
Torro Studio reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is inappropriate or disrespectful. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
TASTER MONTH MEMBERSHIP
Overview
The Taster Month membership offers a flexible way to explore Torro Studio and its different creative disciplines over a one-month period.
It includes:
- Unlimited access to all art rooms, and lounge area
- Access to Design Room screen stations and Photography Room equipment
- Invitations to selected members-only events
The membership is valid for one month and renews automatically unless cancelled.
Access & Availability
Access is subject to studio opening hours and availability. Certain rooms or equipment may require booking in advance. Membership does not guarantee exclusive or immediate access to specific spaces.
Pricing of Materials & Usage
The Taster Month operates on a pay-as-you-produce model. Members are charged only for the materials and services they use, depending on their chosen practice.
Pottery
- CHF 20 / kg (glazed, double-fired)
- CHF 5 / kg (single-fired, no glaze)
Painting
- Canvas from CHF 10 depending on size
- Additional materials may be charged based on use
Design & Photography
- Equipment use is included
All materials are charged based on actual usage.
Cancellation & Renewal
The membership renews automatically each month. It is the member’s responsibility to cancel before the next billing cycle if they do not wish to continue. No partial refunds are provided.
General Conditions
All studio rules apply equally to taster members. Torro Studio reserves the right to restrict or revoke access in case of misuse of the space, equipment, or materials.
WORKSPACE - MEMBERS & GUESTS
Booking & Access
Access is shared among members, and availability is not guaranteed at all times. No booking is needed.
Guests
Members can bring up to 3 guests per year.
Use of Space
Members may use the workspace across different disciplines (pottery, painting, design, photography), depending on their needs.
All users are expected to:
- Clean their workspace after use
- Follow all studio guidelines
- Respect shared equipment
Storage
- Work in progress: up to 4 weeks
- Finished works: up to 6 weeks after notification
After these periods, items may be discarded without notice and related costs may be invoiced.
Responsibility
Members are responsible for:
- Proper use of materials and equipment
- Any damage caused through misuse
Torro Studio reserves the right to revoke access in case of repeated misuse or failure to follow rules.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership Onboarding Process
A one-time joining fee of CHF 70 applies to all memberships. This fee includes a personal, tailored walkthrough of Torro Studio, designed to ensure a smooth and confident onboarding experience. During this introduction, members will be guided through the space, tools, and safety protocols, and will receive an overview of how the Workspace operates. The onboarding is also used to assess each member’s existing knowledge and familiarity with the artistic practices and materials used at Torro.
Where it is deemed beneficial for the member’s experience or safety, Torro may recommend a period of familiarisation, guided practice through classes, before independent use of the art rooms and the activation of a full membership.
This process is in place to ensure that all members can engage with the space safely, confidently, and in alignment with the studio’s standards and creative environment.
Billing & Renewal
Memberships are billed on a monthly basis and renew automatically each month unless cancelled by the member. It is the member’s responsibility to cancel their membership before the next renewal date if they do not wish to continue. Annual memberships are billed upfront for the full year and include a 10% discount compared to monthly billing. No refunds are issued for cancellations made after a renewal has taken place.
Access & Benefits
Membership provides access to Torro Studio spaces and selected benefits such as:
- Unlimited access to all art rooms, workshops, and lounge area
- Material allowances vary depending on the membership type. Please note that unused materials cannot be carried over to the next month.
- Personal storage box for your creations
- Invitations to exclusive members-only events
- 10% discount on classes, curated events, and shop items
Benefits may vary and are subject to change.
Usage & Responsibilities
Members must:
- Follow all studio rules
- Respect shared spaces and booking systems
- Use equipment appropriately
Membership does not grant priority access over other users.
Payment Failure
If a payment fails, access to the membership may be restricted or cancelled until the issue is resolved. Reactivating a membership does not guarantee previous pricing or conditions.
Studio Closures
The studio may be closed on certain dates (holidays, private events, etc.). These closures are part of normal operations and do not entitle members to compensation or extensions.
GIFT CARDS
- Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- They are valid for one year from the date of purchase
- They apply to a selected service or can be adjusted by paying the price difference
If the value of the selected activity is lower than the gift card amount, the remaining balance is not refunded.

Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure proper functionality and to better understand how visitors use the site.

Booking & CRM – bsport
We use bsport to manage bookings, memberships, and customer data. It also provides integrated communication and marketing tools used to send updates and relevant information about Torro Studio.
Payment Processing – Stripe
Payments made at the studio are processed securely through Stripe Terminal. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their security standards and privacy policies.
Hosting – Infomaniak
Our website infrastructure is hosted by Infomaniak.
These providers process data only as required to deliver their services and are bound by their own data protection obligations.
Communications
By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to receive communications related to your activity at Torro Studio.
This may include:
- Booking confirmations and updates
- Practical information regarding classes or memberships
- Occasional news or updates about the studio
You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
Photography & Content Use
Photos and videos may be taken within Torro Studio for documentation, communication, and promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media, and other materials.
